Lucy was rescued from the streets of Tennessee when a kind human noticed she was very pregnant and in need of help. Before that, she survived alongside a pack of canine friends behind a grocery store, where she learned to rely on other dogs for comfort and safety.

Lucy's Great Escape
Lucy gave us quite the scare when she slipped away and was on the run for over 24 hours. Thanks to Sam from Hawkeye Aerial Systems and his drone, we found her - just in time. She had already given birth to one tiny pup at the time of rescue. Now she's back in her foster home safe and sound.
